2020 Aboriginal Employee Network Gathering
About the Gathering 2020
On Wednesday the 25th November at the Long House Gallery, 6 Evans Street, Hobart, the State Service Management Office (SSMO) hosted the 2020 Aboriginal Employee Network Gathering. The location for this event showcased local Aboriginal artists and their work; creating a culturally saturated and peaceful space in which to come together.
2020 Focus
The focus of the Gathering in 2020 was on the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, building and growing partnerships with Aboriginal Organisations, exploring how to influence change, and new ways of engaging with Managers and Supervisors in the workplace. Aboriginal Employees and their invited guests contributed to shared conversations that provided additional understanding of the National Agreement, individual spheres of influence, and how all State Service employees can influence change.
