Office of the Secretary
The Office of the Secretary supports the Secretary’s role as head of DPAC and Head of the State Service (HoSS). The team provides support to the achievement of the Secretary/HoSS strategic goals for the Department and State Service in Tasmania, including delivery of priority programs of work.
The Office of the Secretary manages ministerial and departmental correspondence flow for DPAC’s Secretary, Ministers and the Premier. It reports directly to the Secretary and provides high level Executive support and issues management to the Secretary/HoSS. The Office of the Secretary provides Executive support to key Governance bodies, including DPAC’s Executive Committee and the Whole of Government Secretaries Board. The division also manages key projects and programs including Parliament preparation and Budget Estimates for DPAC.
