Aboriginal Family Relationships (leave entitlements)

A new provision has been inserted into relevant TSS Awards to recognise Aboriginal Family Relationships and expand eligibility to access Personal (Carers) Leave, Compassionate and Bereavement Leave and Family Violence Leave. For the purpose of accessing these leave types under the relevant Awards, the new provision provides for the substitution of Aboriginal Family Relationships in the place of ‘immediate family’.
