Disability Advocacy Services


Advocacy services are designed to enable people with a disability to increase the control they have over their lives through representation of their interests and views in the community.

The Tasmanian Government funds three disability advocacy services:


Advocacy Tasmania

A service for older people, people with disability or mental health issues and people using alcohol and drugs.

This organisation offers services and support to families with children and young people with disability up to twenty-five years of age.
