Woman's Christian Temperance Union

Mrs. Lodge was an executive member of the WCTU. Her husband was editor of the People's Friend, the Tasmanian monthly temperance paper which gave wide coverage to local, national and international temperance activities and achievements

She was elected to the first executive of the National Council of Women in 1899.
