Private Ernest Franks
Private Ernest John Franks, of Elliott, Tasmania, was researched by Zoe Deka, of Devonport High School, Tasmania for the Frank MacDonald Study Tour.
Private Ernest Franks of the 12th Battalion was killed in action on 19 August 1916.
Zoe visited Private Franks' grave at Pozieres British Cemetery, in France, with the Frank MacDonald Study Tour in 2014.
