The Tasmanian Government acknowledges Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the ongoing custodians of Tasmania’s land, sea, waterways and sky. We respect Aboriginal Elders past and present as leaders and knowledge‑holders. Aboriginal employees are integral to the Tasmanian State Service, bringing leadership, wisdom, knowledge and expertise that strengthen government and improve outcomes for Tasmania.
