Dear colleagues
I am pleased to announce that Shane Gregory has been appointed as the Secretary of Building Tasmania.
Shane has a wealth of experience in senior leadership roles in both the public and private sector across South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Shane has held senior management and executive roles in Downer EDI, the Department of State Growth, Department of Premier and Cabinet and Department of Health. He has occupied statutory positions in Tasmania; and been an active and positive contributor at the national and state level on various intergovernmental, executive and governance committees.
Shane’s expertise has been invaluable in the Tasmanian State Service and most recently, as he has guided a significant period of change in Building Tasmania and will continue to do so as we work towards implementation of a new structure to deliver for the Tasmanian community.
Shane’s experience overseeing significant program reform, and his expertise in infrastructure and transport delivery and systems design will be a major asset to Building Tasmania.
