Liveable Communities
In May 2017, the Tasmanian Government released the Strong, Liveable Communities: Tasmania’s Active Ageing Plan 2017-2022.
Liveable Communities Toolkit
Under the Strategy the Tasmanian Government funded Council on the Ageing Tasmania (COTA) to develop a Liveable Communities Toolkit.
The Toolkit aims to support councils and communities to create a supportive, inclusive, safe and engaging Tasmania for people of all ages, backgrounds and mobility. Explore the Liveable Communities Toolkit.
The Liveable Communities Grant Program
In 2017 the Tasmanian Government provided $75,000 for a one-off grants program to support innovative and strategic projects aimed to make local communities more responsive and inclusive of the needs of older people.
