Frank MacDonald Study Tour 2016-2017

Members of the Frank MacDonald Study Tour  who visited the Western Front 2017 in Europe and attended the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, in France.

Students

The students selected for the Frank MacDonald Study Tour won the essay-based competition for grade nine students that helps promote and preserve the meaning of the Anzac spirit in the Tasmanian community. Each tour party member researched a soldier or nurse and presents their research during the tour.

Department of Premier and Cabinet Tour Leader, Samantha Davis, has researched her Great Uncle, Private Albert Johnson, who was killed in action in August 1918.
