Michele Reading resides on the North-East Coast of Tasmania with a husband, two dogs, Photo of Michele Reading and a cat, and is living her dream life.

Michele is married to a 24-year veteran and is passionate about supporting not only veterans but their families as well. She previously held a board position as Independent Director with RSL Tasmania, where she was involved in the changes that are now occurring in the organisation.

Michele is an experienced coach, facilitator, and mentor with a diverse background across multiple industries. She specialises in driving transformational change and managing complex programs, leveraging a coaching approach to achieve sustainable outcomes. Certified as a Dare to Lead Facilitator and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Michele brings expertise in leadership coaching, business improvement, and mental health facilitation. Her achievements include delivering significant financial benefits through various projects and establishing a successful coaching and consulting business.

Michele loves to travel and experience diverse cultures, also spending time with family and friends and enjoying what the community has to offer when at home.

Drawing from her personal experience as a family member of a defence veteran and her tenure on the RSL Tasmania Board, Michele brings a strong focus on mental health, wellbeing, and community development. Her corporate background further enriches her role in the Veterans Reference Group, where she offers valuable advice, information, and insights on various issues impacting veterans and their families.
