COVID-19 Supporting our Veterans Grants Program

Overview:
The health, safety and wellbeing of Tasmanians is our number one priority as we face the challenge of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Tasmanian Government is helping RSL Clubs, RSL sub-branches, Ex-Service Organisations (ESO’s) and other organisations supporting veterans and their families through a dedicated $500,000 program to support those organisations impacted because of COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions. These impacts may include:
- organisations required to limit or cease commercial operations and incurred costs (direct or indirect) by doing so; and/or
- organisations who have incurred costs associated with supporting its members or clients above what would have otherwise been reasonably incurred should the COVID-19 Pandemic not have occurred.
Communities, Sport and Recreation (CSR) in the Department of Communities Tasmania administered the Program in one round.
