Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2019 (PSUWA 2019)

The Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2019 was registered on 25 February 2020 and it affects employees covered by the Tasmanian State Service Award (TSSA) and the Health and Human Services Award (HAHSA). As part of the negotiations for the Agreement, there were a number of non-agreement matters discussed and agreed to by parties, in addition to the changes in the Agreement and relevant Awards.

Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2018 (PSUWA 2018)

The Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) registered a number of public sector agreements on 19 August 2019,  including the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2018. Employees are advised about salary increases by their Agency.

PSUWA 2016 

The Public Sector Union Wages Agreement (PSUWA) 2016 was registered on 22 December 2016 and remained in force until 30 June 2018. The last date of salary increases for employees covered by the PSUWA 2016 was first full pay period on or after 1 December 2017. The Union parties to the PSUWA:

  • Community and Public Sector Union (State Public Services Federation Tasmania) Inc. (CPSU);
  • Health Services Union of Australia, Tasmania No.1 Branch (HSU);
  • Australian Education Union, Tasmanian Branch (AEU);
  • United Voice, Tasmanian Branch (UV);
  • Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Australia (APESMA).
  • Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmania (ANMF).
