Policies
Digital Strategy and Services (DSS) develops, maintains and contributes to a range of policies, guidelines and toolkits that support consistency in the management and use of digital data and services across Tasmanian Government agencies.
Cloud Policy
Released in 2020 after extensive industry and stakeholder consultation, this policy is supported by a new Risk Assessment Guide.
Cyber Security Policy
The Government's cyber security policy provides a risk-based framework to protect government held information, systems and services. An updated version was released in 2022.
Open Data Policy
This policy encourages agencies to share government-held data with the public for commercial and community benefit. An updated version was released in 2022
Information Management Framework
Tasmania's Office of the State Archivist is leading development of the Government's Information Management Framework, which includes the relevant policies, standards and resources.
