Expansion of Parliament Bill – Public submissions
On 25 May 2022, the Premier, Hon Jeremy Rockliff, announced the Government’s commitment to restore the House of Assembly from 25 to 35 members. The House of Assembly was reduced from 35 to 25 members in 1998.
In August, the Expansion of Parliament Bill was released for public consultation.
