The regular release of information

We routinely disclose information twice a year (April and October), or within 10 working days of a change taking place. Information disclosed includes departmental, ministerial and parliamentary information.

The Right to Information Act 2009 encourages greater access to information held by government by providing for right to information requests (assessed disclosure) and by encouraging the regular disclosure of information (routine disclosure).

Departmental disclosures

Whole-of-government Commission of Inquiry matters

Information relating to matters raised by the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.

This information will be updated on the 30th of every month until all actions are complete.

The disclosures include:

  • Assessment and actions by heads of agency relating to State Service employees (alleged perpetrators).
  • Assessment and actions by heads of agency relating to State Service employees (alleged non-perpetrators).
  • Assessment and actions by the Commissioner of Police relating to Tasmania Police officers.
  • Notifications of State Service employee suspensions from duty as a result of allegations of child sexual abuse (cumulative since October 2020).
  • Joint Referral Review Team matters identified through section 34A notices and other data sources relating to State Service employees and general public people of interest.
