Celebrate a significant milestone
Congratulatory messages can be organised for Tasmanians celebrating a special age or wedding anniversary.
- Birthdays: 90 years of age and every age thereafter.
- Wedding anniversaries: 50th, 55th, 60th and every year thereafter.
Making a request
Complete our form and send it with verification of the birthday or anniversary date. Verification can be in the form of a birth or marriage certificate or a statutory declaration declaring the information is correct.

Form - Request for a Congratulatory Message
Notice time needed
We typically need four to six weeks' notice of your request. Messages may be organised in a shorter timeframe, however cannot be guaranteed they will arrive in time.
We do not accept requests for messages more than three months in advance of the date.
Belated messages
Belated messages can be organised up to five weeks after the date, with the exceptions being the Prime Minister, the Governor-General and His Majesty the King (up to six months after the date).
