Creating positive change
The Inspiring Young Women’s Award, affectionately known as the Graces, will be presented for the first time in 2027. This new award shines a light on young Tasmanian women, including those with a trans or non‑binary experience, who show exceptional potential, initiative and achievement.
It celebrates young people who are creating positive change in their communities through their effort, passion and self‑motivation. Whether they are leading, advocating, creating or supporting others, these emerging leaders are making a real difference.
The stories of award recipients will be shared across Tasmania to recognise their impact and inspire other young people to step forward, contribute, and pursue their goals.
Nominations for 2027
Do you know a young woman, including those with a trans or non‑binary experience, who is creating positive change in their community?
You can nominate them for the Inspiring Young Women’s Award. Applications close 30 September 2026 at 2 pm.
Assessment panel - expression of interest for 2027
If you are interested in contributing to recognising outstanding Tasmanian women, we encourage you to submit an expression of interest to sit on the 2027 assessment panel.
