Round two recipients for Tasmania were announced on 28 August 2024. Round two sees investment of over $15 million in Tasmania to deliver 17 local resilience projects.
Under the program, the Australian Government is investing more than $7.5 million in these projects including $4.5 million towards four infrastructure projects, $2.4 million for 11 systemic risk reduction projects, and about $600,000 for two combined systemic risk reduction and infrastructure projects.
The Tasmanian Government, local governments, and other Tasmanian organisations are collectively investing $8.1 million into the projects.
