Applications are now open for one Ordinary Board Member vacancy on the Basketball Tasmania Board.

The Basketball Tasmania Board provides strategic leadership and governance for basketball in Tasmania. Board members help guide the future of the sport, support participation and performance pathways, and ensure the organisation remains well placed to serve the basketball community.
Applicants with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Legal and compliance.
- Commercial revenue generation and sponsorship.
- Marketing, communications and media.
- Digital, technology and cyber governance.
- Facilities and infrastructure planning.
The Board values diverse skills, perspectives and experiences, and is committed to good governance and the long-term success of basketball in Tasmania.
The Board generally meets eight to nine times per year. Meetings are usually held on weekday evenings, with some Saturday afternoon meetings.
