Here are some simple, practical actions your organisation can take to start using the Respectful Workplaces resources and strengthen everyday respect at work.

  1. Put up the Respectful Workplaces posters in shared spaces to spark awareness and start everyday conversations about respect.
  2. Complete the self‑evaluation checklist (pages 21–22 of the Respectful Workplaces Blueprint) to understand your organisation’s current strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Share the simple, everyday actions for a respectful and inclusive workplace (page 23 of the Respectful Workplaces Blueprint) with staff and invite them to reflect on what they already do well and where they could grow.
  4. Review the real actions from creating pathways for women (page 17 of the Respectful Workplaces Blueprint) and choose one of the four focus areas to begin strengthening pathways for women in your organisation.
  5. Ask all staff to complete the micro‑learning modules, then come together as a team to discuss key insights and identify practical steps your organisation can take to build a more respectful workplace.
