Further Update on Wage Negotiations (04 Jan 2023)

Dear Colleagues

I am pleased to advise that following continued discussions and enormous effort from Government negotiators and Unions, the following industrial Agreements were registered by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission on 23 December 2022 and are now in force:

• Public Sector Union Wages Agreement
• PSUWA AWU
• Dental Officers
• Ministerial Drivers
• Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority
• Allied Health Professionals

Legal Practitioners are now also included in the Tasmanian State Service Award.

This outcome is as a result of ongoing and lengthy discussions with the Unions, and provides a fair, reasonable and affordable salary increase and a significant improvement to a range of conditions.

The registered Agreements are now available on the TIC website. Where appropriate, you will receive further information from your Agency on what this means for you.
