New Portfolio Ministers (23 Oct 2024)
Hi everyone
Following the announcement on the weekend by the Premier, the new Tasmanian Cabinet has been sworn in at Government House today. Please find below a list of the ministerial portfolios for your information.
Over the next few weeks, the public service, led by your Secretary and Executive, will be working with their new Ministerial Offices where portfolios have changed to commence the incoming Minister briefing processes.
The public service has a key role to play in briefing Ministers in regard to programs, projects and services in their portfolio. This also includes advice on any existing or previous commitments, and any portfolio policies already decided by Cabinet.
If you have any questions about what the changes mean, please discuss with your Department.
