Conclusion of the caretaker period 2025 (19 Aug 2025)
Dear colleagues
This week, the 52nd Parliament of Tasmania resumed and confirmed Premier Rockliff and his new Cabinet will proceed as the incoming government.
As such, I can advise that the caretaker period has officially ended.
The 52nd Parliament Sitting Schedule is available on the Tasmanian Parliament website.
The incoming government briefing process will continue this week with Premier Rockliff and his new Cabinet.
I would like to thank you for the hard work that has continued throughout the caretaker period on behalf of the Tasmanian community.
