Conclusion of the Caretaker Period (11 Apr 2024)

Dear Colleagues

As you would be aware, following the declaration of the polls Premier Rockliff has formed Government and as such I formally advise that the caretaker period has ended.

A swearing in ceremony has taken place at Government House this morning and you can see details of the ministerial responsibilities in the Premier’s media release here.

I would like to thank you again for the hard work that continued throughout the caretaker period on behalf of the Tasmanian community, and for your efforts in preparing the incoming government briefs in readiness for our new Cabinet.
