Community Services

Community Services Policy and Programs

Community Services is responsible for providing effective support to vulnerable children, young people, individuals and families through a range of programs. This includes funding support programs, building capacity across government and the community and overseeing whole of government strategies.

Community Services delivers six programs:

1. Elder abuse prevention strategy
2. Family support services
3. Neighbourhood houses
4. Gambling support services
5. Community family violence and sexual assault services
6. Personnel and Financial Counselling Services
