Discussions are currently underway between the Tasmanian Government and the combined public sector unions regarding the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement (PSUWA) 2008.

A proposal developed to enable further discussion with unions covers:

• revised structures and levels
• complimentary classification standards
• translation arrangements to the new structure
• revised salary levels within each band (levels)
• annual salary increases over the life of the agreement
• improvements in conditions.
