Training

The Public Sector Management Office specifies and produces training programs and events which are State Service specific and promote current and best practice in line with government policy.  These programs and events are designed to assist managers and staff in the public sector with the continuous updating of skills and knowledge required to ensure objectives are achieved and quality of service is maintained and improved.

The training is often practical in nature, interactive and has a public sector focus. The events encourage meeting, sharing experience and exchange of views between participants from other areas and agencies.

Programs and events address the following:

  • Contemporary policy issues
  • The public sector environment
  • Development programs
  • Specialist topics
  • Noteworthy speakers

All scheduled training events are available through the Training Consortium. You can access their regular events by visiting their regular events calendar.
