Office of Parliamentary Counsel - Repeals of Statutory Rules under Subordinate Legislation Act

REPEALS UNDER THE SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION ACT 1992

Any regulations, rules or by-laws made by, or approved, confirmed or consented to by, the Governor on or before 20 November 1999 and not otherwise repealed, rescinded or revoked, have been repealed under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 unless the repeal date for that enactment is currently postponed by order under section 11 of that Act or by another Act of Parliament.

Postponements of the repeal of the following are in operation as at 20 November 2009:

  • Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 (1996/184) ..[postponed by Acts 15/2006, 51/2007, 53/2008 and 56/2009]
  • Dangerous Goods (Road and Rail Transport) Regulations 1998 (1998/162) ....[postponed by Act 53/2008 and 56/2009]
  • Fair Trading (Code of Practice for Motor Vehicle Traders) Regulations 1996 (1996/5) ..[postponed by Acts 46/2005, 15/2006, 51/2007, 53/2008 and 56/2009]
  • Wildlife Regulations 1999 (199/168).  .[postponed by Act 56/2009]
  • Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 1998 (1998/152) ...[postponed by Act 53/2008 and 56/2009]

Regulations, rules and by-laws repealed under section 11 of that Act as at 20 November 2009 include the following:
