The primary services provided by the Office are:

• drafting of proposed new legislation and amendments to existing legislation as required by the Government's legislative program
• preparation of relevant advice on legislative matters for Ministers, Members of Parliament and instructing agencies
• maintaining the electronic database of Tasmanian Legislation.
