Submissions will be treated as confidential, subject to disclosure to individuals or organisations who are the subject of complaints contained in submissions to allow them to respond. In order to facilitate this, the Board of Inquiry intends to provide affected persons identified in complaints with a copy of the complaint and accompanying information. If you do not wish your personal details to be disclosed as part of this process, or you wish to withdraw information already provided to the Board, please advise the Board by close of business on 13 November 2015, providing reasons for non-disclosure of the information.
Submissions should adhere to the Terms of Reference and where possible should be accompanied by relevant information to substantiate any claims that are made.
The Board of Inquiry will assess the written submissions and gather further information when necessary. Allegations (including supporting information) against individuals or organisations will then be provided to respondents for response. This will be followed by interviews with complainants and other relevant persons as determined by the Board of Inquiry.
The Board of Inquiry will contact you directly should you be required for interview. Interviews are likely to be held in late November / early December 2015. The Board has determined that legal representation will not be permitted at interviews. All interviews will be conducted in camera.
The Board of Inquiry will assess the information and evidence provided to it and report to the Minister for Planning and Local Government, Peter Gutwein MP, with findings and recommendations by 15 February 2016.
