A lot has happened since the last edition of Partnerships News.

While the evaluation of the partnerships process was being carried out, progress was made on a number of new agreements.

Protocol arrangements for second partnership agreements have been signed with the following councils:

• Central Highlands on 20 March 2009
• Brighton on 17 April 2009
• Tasman on 6 May 2009
• West Coast on 12 May 2009.

Negotiations are now under way and schedules are being drafted for these new agreements.

New agreements have also been signed with the following councils:

• Meander Valley on 29 January 2009
• Break O’Day on 13 February 2009
• Dorset on 24 May 2009
• West Coast Council on 28 July 2009

These agreements are now being implemented.
