Premier and Mayor Partridge sign agreement

Back Forward

The second partnership agreement with the Dorset Council was signed in Scottsdale on Sunday 24 May, by Premier David Bartlett and Mayor Peter Partridge.

Key components of the new agreement include the redevelopment of the Scottsdale Recreation Ground, collaboration on transport and road infrastructure planning and the establishment of a new regional Learning and Information Network Centre (LINC) in Scottsdale.

The $3million LINC will integrate a range of State Government community services under one roof.

In keeping with the new flexibility of partnerships, this agreement will run for only two years.

This agreement is being managed by Justin Meeker, who can be contacted on 6232 7085 or Justin.meeker@dpac.tas.gov.au.
