Second Partnership Agreement with Glenorchy City Council signed 30 July 2008
Upgrading the Brooker Highway, extending the inter-city cycleway and establishing a Glenorchy PCYC are among the cornerstones of a second Partnership Agreement between the Government and Glenorchy City Council.
Premier David Bartlett and Mayor Ald. Adriana Taylor signed the wide-ranging agreement at the Glenorchy Civic Centre on 30 July 2008. The first Partnership Agreement included progressive initiatives such as the Glenorchy City Social Plan, which was the first of its kind in Australia. The new agreement aims to build on positive achievements already made. The Partnership Agreement can be viewed on this website.
