Scottsdale (Dorset Council)Main street makeover funding assisted the Dorset Council in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the main street and improve pedestrian safety at Scottsdale. Pedestrian outstands were installed at four intersections along the main street to assist pedestrian movement across the main road and decorative fencing was installed to direct pedestrians towards the safe crossing points. A disabled park was installed and the footpath paved to improve access to services.
