The Communications and Marketing Unit provides specialist communications advice and services to help all areas of the Department effectively communicate with internal and external audiences. Services include media, marketing, public relations and print and electronic publishing.

The unit, through the Director – Communications Policy, is also responsible for overseeing the Whole-of-Government Communications Policy, including the Tasmanian Government Style Guide and Logo Policy and the Tasmanian Government Communications website.
