Digital Transformation Strategy - Draft Package

The Tasmanian Government is committed to providing opportunities for community involvement in the development of Government policy and invites feedback from interested parties on the Digital Transformation Strategy Draft Package.

As the Tasmanian Government's first strategy for digital transformation, Our Digital Future is about much more than implementing new technology; it's about helping and inspiring Tasmanian people, businesses, industries and government agencies to grow and flourish in the digital world. The strategy brings together major actions across three priority areas - community, economy and government - and will be supported by a roadmap of major actions.

The strategy is complemented by a revised Tasmanian Government Cloud Policy and risk assessment processes. The draft policy and risk assessment guide are provided as part of the consultation package. The categories of risks that will be evaluated in decisions about cloud-based services are: financial; privacy and confidentiality; vendor capability; data integrity; data sovereignty; business continuity and disaster recovery; service performance; incident management; and security.
