Frank MacDonald Study Tour 2017 members

Members of the Frank MacDonald Study Tour to visit the Western Front 2017 in Europe and attend the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, in France.


The students selected for the Frank MacDonald Study Tour won the essay-based competition for grade nine students that helps promote and preserve the meaning of the Anzac spirit in the Tasmanian community. Each tour party member researches a soldier or nurse and presents their research during the tour.

  • Tom Watson, Launceston Church Grammar School, has researched Private William Maynard
