Support Services for LGBTI Tasmanians

Are you transgender or gender diverse, or know someone who is?

The following services and groups provide information and support for health and wellbeing.

Tasmanian Gender Service

A service for children and young people under 18, and their families, who are experiencing gender related issues.

The Tasmanian Gender Service is part of the Department of Health and can provide advice, assessment and treatment as appropriate.  Referral required.

Sexual Health Service Tasmania

Headspace is a free, youth-focused health service for young people aged 12-25 who are:

  • feeling down, depressed or anxious

  • being hurt or bullied
