Local Steps Towards Global Goals

Education for Sustainability Tasmania is hosting three workshops across the State. These workshops will provide opportunities for educators to come together. The focus of the workshops is to build the capacity of educators to deliver education for sustainability and to increase understandings of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Education for Sustainability.

Keynote Speaker: Jen Dollin, Western Sydney University and Program Director for the UN Regional Centre for Expertise in Education for Sustainable Development - Greater Western Sydney.

These workshops are aimed at teachers, supporting practitioners and anyone with an interest in education and sustainability.

Education for Sustainability Tasmania is one of 150 UN-recognised Regional Centres of Expertise in the world and one of only five in Australia. Education for Sustainability is one of 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, giving people the skills and knowledge to live in more sustainable ways.
