This public event will explore the legal frameworks for bushfire preparedness and response. What does contemporary best practice bushfire law and policy look like?

Dr Michael Eburn is Association Professor at the Australian National University College of Law and a member of the Australian Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre. His presentation will focus on contemporary Australian laws and policies for bushfire preparedness and response.

The public lecture will be followed by an expert panel discussion and audience Q&A.
