Christine Campbell Outpost 1 The contemporary issue that the work addresses is ‘Multiculturalism in Tasmanian Society’. Being a woman in contemporary Tasmania is informed and enriched by the diverse cultures that now make up our community. My work references ethnicity, culture and heritage through symbols, colours, patterns and textures. The composition reflects how our unified society is the sum of its diverse parts.
