Women Tasmania Grants Program

The Tasmanian Government is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity and to improving the quality of life of all Tasmanians.

The Women’s Development Small Grants Program aims to promote equality of opportunity for women, foster community development and capacity building, and enhance women’s social and economic participation.

The 2008-09 grant round is now closed. The Women’s Development Small Grants Program will give priority to initiatives which:

  • promote social inclusion for groups of women who have limited access to social and economic resources;
  • develop women’s skills and knowledge through programs, projects and services; and
  • build women’s connection with the community.

Non-profit groups and organisations are able to apply for grants up to $2,000 for such initiatives.

Applications closed on Friday 28 November 2008.
