The Community Development Division’s Policy Branch leads the development and implementation of whole-of-Government issues for identified population groups.

The Policy Branch aims to:

  • provide high quality policy advice to government
  • manage and support whole of government policy initiatives
  • deliver a whole of community perspective to policy development and advice through whole of community
  • engagement and policy development
  • deliver evidence based policy
  • ensure a supportive and collaborative approach to policy development
