2008 - 2009 Children and Youth Advisory Services Funding Program - now openThe $100,000 Children and Youth Advisory Services (CAYAS) Funding Program provides grants of up to $5,000 for projects to provide information and opportunities for children (6-12 years) and young people (12-25 years). The CAYAS program has a strong focus on projects that promote social inclusion. Non-government community organisations and councils are eligible to apply for CAYAS funding. Not-for-profit organisations and service providers from all tiers of government are eligible to apply. Grants of up to $10,000 (GST exclusive) for one year and grants from $10,000 (GST exclusive) for one to three years are available. National Youth Week 2009 (28 March - 5 April 2009)National Youth Week is the largest single celebration of young people on the Australian calendar, with thousands of people aged 12-25 getting involved in events and activities throughout the country. You can participate in National Youth Week each year by organising or taking part in an event or activity. Grants for 2009 National Youth Week will open on 1 October 2008.
