The Tasmanian Government provides the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre Inc (TAC) with an annual grant through the Office of Aboriginal Affairs of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, for the purposes of providing duty assistance to Aboriginal first home buyers.

Aboriginal people purchasing their first home can make application by contacting their local TAC Branch.
