The National Indigenous Cadetship Program (NICP)

The National Indigenous Cadetship Program (NICP) continues to be an excellent pathway for young Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders seeking employment in the public sector.  Six young NICP cadets sponsored by State Government agencies graduated from the University of Tasmania over the past two years, including the first Tasmanian Aboriginal lawyer to graduate in twelve years.

Further information on NICP can be found at www.nicp.dewr.gov.au/
