Living in harmony

Rwandan dancers perform at a Harmony Day event in Hobart, 2006.Harmony Day, which falls on 21 March each year, provides an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on and celebrate our success as a culturally diverse and harmonious nation. The day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
