Imagine. Create. Inspire. National Youth Week, 13-22 April 2012

National Youth Week (NYW) is the largest celebration of young people on the Australian youth calendar.

The aims of NYW are to:

  • give young people aged 12-25 an opportunity to express their ideas and views, raise issues of concern to them, act on issues that affect their lives and create and enjoy entertainment and events ;
  • give the wider community the opportunity to listen to young people, and acknowledge and celebrate the positive contributions and achievements made by young people; and
  • promote a community focus on issues of concern to young people.

NYW 2012 will be held between Friday 13 April and Sunday 22 April 2012. The theme for 2012 is Imagine. Create. Inspire.
