Community Capacity Building Grants Program 2010-11The Tasmanian Government Community Capacity Building Grants Program was delivered in 2009-10 and 2010-11. The aim of this Program was to improve Tasmanians’ participation in the social, economic, political and cultural life of their community by building individual and community capacity. During the past two years, 242 community projects received between $170 and $50 000 in funding, totalling over $1.7million. A complete list of grant recipients is available on this site. Due to financial constraints, the Community Capacity Building Grants Program will not open during 2011-12. The Community Development Division will continue to assist community organisations source grant funding opportunities through its grant alert list. ReportingOrganisations who have received a Community Capacity Building Program grant must provide the Community Development Division with a final report.
